Day 100

This is Burp. He is an endangered monster from a very gaseous planet named Beaniper many light years away. Scientists expect this planet to explode at any time which is why Burp has come to live with us on Earth. Be sure to welcome Burp and don't be offended by his strange behaviors.

This guy is the stud of all monsters. Check out those irresistible nostrils! His name is Hunk.

Eat your heart out ladies!

Day 97

I don't know... I think he looks like a Loyd. What should his name be?

He seems to carry a sense of wisdom. Maybe he'll be the all knowing wise one.

Day 96

I'm so excited to start a "monster" series!! Here we go with monster number one. His name is Chooger -  rhymes with sugar and booger.

Think up some good monster names if you feel inspired to do so, and share them. I may choose to use your suggested name for a monster or two or three.

Hula Hooping Caterpillar: Day 94

This caterpillar is trying to get in as much hula hooping as possible before it turns into a butterfly. Although it'll probably enjoy flying even more.

My friend Meredith, a master hula hooper, inspired this peace sign design.

Welcome to this silly blog, Stacey and little Mae!!! I'm so glad you're enjoying this journey with me. Thank you so much for being a part of it.

Fire Hydrant: Day 93

I am choosing to unplug for the next few days. Therefore, I have created and posted a design for each day up to and including Saturday, August 21st.

BTW, this sophisticated design was inspired by my sister.  It's definitely very avant-garde. The only thing that would make it better is if I add another dog sniffing this one's butt.

One more thing - A big WELCOME to Danielle!!! Thanks for following.

School Supplies: Day 92

Peace Sign Back Pack: Day 91

Mrs. Teacher: Day 90

This one is for all you teachers except for the misters and misses. Don't worry, I can customize for you. Thanks again to Sandy and Vesna for encouraging me to post this one.

School Bus: Day 89

Thank you to Sandy and Vesna who encouraged me to finish this one. This is actually the first design with 2 peace signs. Whoa!

Day 83

Today's geometry lesson - a hippie's version of the Pythagorean Theorem.

Day 82

Continuing with  the "teacher" series. Should I have put reading glasses on the worm? I think I'll try it. If I like it I'll swap it with this one.

Day 81

I have to say... this was one of the more unusual yet very creative suggestions and it came from my brother, Doug. The boy who thought he was the Hulk. In fact, I'm pretty sure he still thinks he is sometimes ;) Happy Birthday, Bro!!!

Day 80

This is the first of the "teacher" inspired series. I can't say I love it but the concept is there. I may play with this one a bit more at some point. Maybe the teacher should be non-gender? ...not sure

Day 79

My job inspired this one. For those of you interested, I work at Faber-Castell USA and am a graphic designer for the brand Creativity for Kids. Check out the link and learn how two moms started the brand over 30 years ago... really GREAT products!!! See for yourself.

Day 78

Keeping it simple today. That wizard got the best of me yesterday so I'm gonna take a step back. I kinda like the little mouse though. Not too fancy and just the right amount of cute.

Day 77

I have no idea where this one came from. It's a little unusual don't you think? Look out Harry Potter! Here comes the PEACE WIZARD!!! Ha! - that's funny ;-)

Day 76

I must give credit to my sister-in-law, Jane for suggesting a Rastafarian. Yet another great idea from my very creative friends and family.

There are many more ideas that have been suggested and are currently in the works. A series of teacher/school peace signs are on the way by request of one of my best friends, Jen. Guess it's almost that time of year, kiddos. Get ready to hit the books or kindle or whatever it is you students learn from these days.

Many thanks to everyone for dreaming up such great material. I'm loving it! You guys have already exceeded my expectations. Now keep it coming!!! Only 289 days left to go! ;o)

Day 75

My amazing Sister thought up this one - such a great idea. She's positively been an inspiration to me throughout this little exploration and well... throughout my life in general. Thank you, Mary Ann!

Day 73

Everybody SING! We all live in a yellow, blue and red submarine... a yellow, blue and red submarine... a yellow, blue and red submarine.
