Day 30

This, for those of you who may not know is a sousaphone.

It's dedicated to my very musically inclined nephew, Zach who I hear plays the sousaphone like a pro. Though it took quite a while to illustrate, I love that it's quite unusual. This was such a great peace design idea. Thank you to my sister and her son Zach.

Day 29

Here's a pretty sweet double entendre - paws for peace. Nice message.

Day 28

Think of Diana Ross as you look at this peace stop sign. I could write the obvious but... just say it quietly to yourself... or LOUDLY. Oh, ok I'll type it: "STOP... in the naaaaaame of peace... "

Ugh, if I were reading my own blog and didn't know myself, I would think I was cheesier than muenster.

One side note: this simple design was inspired while attending my nieces dance recital. (she was FABULOUS!) A slide show in the background showed a stop sign with the word "LOVE" - cute.

Day 27

Two brains initiated this design. My Dad and brother-in-law, Skip suggested a play on words... like a "puzzle peace" or "peace of pie". I must say great minds do think alike. My Dad went so far as to give me a sketch of his ideas and I realized I inherited my eye for design from my mother's gene pool ;) just kidding, Dad. Actually, I may post them if he gives me permission. He definitely shows great design potential ...very creative. Thank you both for your contributions! Peace of pie is in the works.

Day 26

This one is dedicated to Meredith, Jane, John and anyone that loves elephants. It was fun to design and interesting to research. They're magnificent creatures.

Welcome to Sandy, Melissa and Angela!!! So happy you've joined!

Day 25

Putting peace signs and music notes together makes me think of that song by John Lennon. You know the song I'm talking about. It's gonna be stuck in my head all day...that's ok though.

Day 24

Say hello to the peace kitty...so prim and proper. Don't you think? She was actually designed in tandem with the peace puppy. What a pair.

Hey, who's that handsome green fellow that joined yesterday? That hair style looks great on him. What a stud!!! Thanks, totally buff green man. Welcome to one Peace a Day.

Day 23

Welcome to 1 Peace a Day, John. Happy to have your interest!! Share your thoughts if you wish by either leaving a comment or writing an email. Everyone is welcome to do the same.

About this design... I was going for a spiral galaxy shape but just couldn't get it right. I know seems simple enough, right? So it turned into a peace sign swirl. I kinda like it. Simple but cool looking. Feel free to disagree.

Day 21

My sister is the brains behind this peace sea turtle... for you, Sis! Thanks to everyone for sharing your creativity.

Day 20

A peace cream cone for the girlies.

My clever little nieces suggested this deliciousness.
Thank you, Sammi and Steph!

Day 15

This is the first of a series of 3 inspired by a friend who suggested something with lime green. Thank, Lis!

I believe the alien would say "I come in peace. Take me to your followers." (Ok, no commenting on my humor...  ;)
